Vyasti — We build businesses as systems.
01 / Project Overview

The cakes already existed. The digital storefront didn’t.

Bakers Bench needed more than a beautiful bakery website. It needed an online platform where customers could discover products and move all the way through to purchase. Vyasti designed and developed a premium WooCommerce storefront connecting product presentation, cart, checkout and payment into one complete shopping experience.

Engagement Premium storefront design with a real commerce system behind it.

The project combined website UI/UX with WooCommerce development so the experience could both present the bakery beautifully and support online purchasing.

Project timeline ~1 month

Website design, WooCommerce development, shopping flows, content creation and supporting visual assets were brought together within the focused engagement.

Before Vyasti 01
Great products, but no proper digital platform to sell them.

Bakers Bench had cakes and bakery products to offer, but did not yet have the online storefront required to let customers browse and purchase through a complete digital commerce experience.

After the engagement 02
A premium WooCommerce storefront built to take customers through to purchase.

Vyasti turned the requirement into a complete website where product presentation, cart behaviour, checkout and payment worked as parts of the same customer journey.

Customer journey The website had to carry the customer from craving to checkout.

This was not only a visual redesign. Every stage needed to connect logically so customers could move from exploring products to completing an order without the experience breaking between screens.

01
Discover Browse the store

Enter the Bakers Bench experience and explore the product offering.

02
Choose Explore products

Move through products and identify the right purchase.

03
Cart Add to basket

Carry selected products into the purchase journey.

04
Checkout Complete order details

Move from shopping into a structured checkout experience.

05
Payment Complete purchase

Connect the shopping experience with the payment stage.

Commerce foundation A beautiful storefront still has to work like a store.

The visual layer was only one part of the engagement. WooCommerce functionality had to support the practical actions customers expect when purchasing online.

01
Product catalogue Structure products so customers can browse the store clearly.
02
Add to cart Connect product selection with the purchasing journey.
03
Checkout Give customers a clear path toward completing an order.
04
Payment flow Complete the commerce experience with payment functionality.
Product desire
Make the products feel worth craving.

The website needed a premium visual presentation capable of giving bakery products the attention they deserved.

Shopping clarity
Keep buying simple.

Product presentation could feel editorial, but the underlying purchase journey still needed to remain clear and familiar.

Commerce continuity
Keep every step connected.

Product discovery, cart, checkout and payment needed to feel like one continuous storefront rather than separate website functions.

Visual experience UI + Graphics + Motion
The commerce system needed the visual quality of a premium bakery brand around it.

Vyasti created supporting graphics, imagery, icons and animation elements alongside the website UI/UX so the store could feel considered and complete rather than like a default WooCommerce installation.

Content creation The words were part of the storefront too.

The engagement also included content creation, helping the website communicate the Bakers Bench experience alongside the visual and commerce layers.

Business objective

Bakers Bench needed a premium-looking website, but the business requirement went beyond presentation. Vyasti designed and developed a complete WooCommerce storefront that gave customers a path from product discovery through cart, checkout and payment, while also creating the content, graphics, imagery, icons and animations needed to make the experience feel like a considered bakery brand rather than a standard online shop. The approximately one-month engagement resulted in a fully workable e-commerce website capable of selling Bakers Bench products online.

02 / The Challenge

A premium bakery website still had to do the hard work of selling.

Bakers Bench was not simply asking for a better-looking website. It needed a complete commerce experience where product discovery, cart behaviour, checkout and payment could work together without weakening the premium feel of the brand.

Core challenge Make the products desirable. Make the purchase journey dependable.

A bakery storefront can look beautiful and still fail as an e-commerce experience. Bakers Bench needed both layers to work together: strong product presentation and a functional path all the way through to payment.

01
Product discovery

Customers needed a clear way to explore products without the storefront becoming visually crowded.

02
Add-to-cart behaviour

The experience had to connect product selection with a working shopping cart rather than stopping at presentation.

03
Checkout flow

Customers needed a structured path from the cart into the final order process.

04
Payment completion

The storefront needed payment functionality so the commerce journey could actually finish online.

Two jobs, one website Brand desire and commerce functionality had to coexist.

The website could not choose between being a beautiful bakery experience and being a functional online shop. It needed to succeed at both.

Brand experience 01
Make every product feel premium enough to want.

The interface, imagery, graphics, content and motion needed to create appetite, confidence and a stronger perception of the Bakers Bench brand.

Commerce experience 02
Make every purchase step clear enough to complete.

Product selection, cart behaviour, checkout and payment could not feel disconnected from the visual experience. They had to operate as one continuous shopping journey.

Commerce chain Every link mattered

03 Cart

05 Payment
Functional complexity The difficult part began where the visual website became a real store.

The important work was not merely styling pages. The commerce functions needed to connect correctly so customers could move through the full purchase journey.

01
Cart logic Selected products needed to carry correctly into the order flow.
02
Checkout structure The buying journey needed a clear and functional final stage.
03
Payment connection The website had to support the actual payment step.
04
Experience continuity Functional pages still had to feel like the same premium storefront.
Desire
Let the products lead visually.

Bakery products depend heavily on presentation, so the website needed enough visual space and imagery to create appetite.

Clarity
Keep the shopping controls obvious.

Premium design could not hide essential buying actions or make familiar commerce behaviour harder to understand.

Trust
Make the purchase feel complete.

Customers needed to move confidently from product discovery into checkout and payment without the experience feeling unfinished.

Critical commerce moment Cart → Checkout → Payment
The storefront could only succeed if the purchase journey worked beyond the product page.

The cart, checkout and payment stages were the functional backbone of the project. Those parts had to work correctly while maintaining continuity with the premium design language established across the rest of the website.

Project timeline ~1 month

Website design, WooCommerce development, commerce flows, content creation and visual asset work were brought together within the focused engagement.

Challenge in context

Bakers Bench had no existing online selling platform, so the challenge was broader than creating a premium visual identity for the website. Vyasti had to create an e-commerce experience where the bakery could present products attractively while customers could move through product discovery, add-to-cart, checkout and payment as one functioning WooCommerce journey. The project therefore had to balance brand perception with practical commerce behaviour from the very beginning.

03 / Our Approach

We designed the shopping journey before polishing the storefront.

Bakers Bench needed the visual quality of a premium bakery brand, but the experience first had to make sense as a store. We structured the product journey, designed the storefront around it and then connected WooCommerce, cart, checkout, payment, content and visual assets into one complete commerce experience.

Approach principle Design for desire. Build for purchase.

Bakery e-commerce has two jobs at once: make customers want the product and make it easy for them to buy it. Every major design and development decision was shaped around that balance.

01
Understand the product offering

Start with what Bakers Bench sells and how those products need to appear inside an online storefront.

02
Shape the shopping structure

Organise the experience so product discovery can lead naturally into purchase.

03
Design around commerce

Build the premium visual experience around familiar and usable e-commerce behaviour.

04
Connect the full transaction

Ensure product, cart, checkout and payment behave as one continuous journey.

Commerce design process From product catalogue to completed purchase.

The work moved from business structure into interface design and finally into functional commerce, content and visual refinement.

01
Understand Read the product offering

Understand what customers need to discover and purchase.

02
Structure Shape the catalogue

Create a clearer way to organise and browse the store.

03
Design Create the storefront

Translate the structure into a premium visual experience.

04
Build Develop WooCommerce

Turn the interface into a functioning e-commerce store.

05
Cart Connect product selection

Carry customer choices into the buying journey.

06
Checkout Structure order completion

Move customers through the required checkout stage.

07
Payment Complete the transaction

Connect the storefront to its payment functionality.

08
Content Build the communication layer

Create content that supports the store and brand experience.

09
Refine Polish the full experience

Bring design, commerce and visuals into one coherent storefront.

Catalogue thinking Before customers can buy, they need to understand what is available.

The storefront structure needed to make product browsing feel clear while leaving enough room for strong imagery and premium presentation.

01
Product organisation Give the store a usable browsing structure.
02
Product visibility Let imagery and product information work together.
03
Purchase cues Keep buying actions clear inside the premium interface.
04
Journey continuity Lead naturally from browsing into the cart.
Storefront layer 01
Make the bakery feel premium before asking the customer to buy.

The storefront used interface design, content and visual assets to create a more considered product experience around the Bakers Bench offering.

Commerce layer 02
Make the transaction feel as considered as the storefront.

WooCommerce, cart behaviour, checkout and payment were treated as part of the customer experience rather than hidden technical functions behind the design.

Functional spine The purchase path
01 Product
02 Cart
03 Checkout
04 Payment
Content & visual layer Once the store worked, the experience still needed personality.

Vyasti created content alongside graphics, imagery, icons and animations so the functional WooCommerce experience could feel like a complete Bakers Bench storefront rather than a default commerce installation.

01 Content
02 Graphics
03 Images
04 Icons

Visual consistency
Keep commerce pages on-brand

Functional screens needed to retain the same visual character established across the main storefront.

Buying clarity
Keep actions easy to understand

Premium styling could not interfere with product, cart, checkout or payment behaviour.

Responsive experience
Preserve the journey across screens

The storefront and commerce flow needed to remain clear when customers moved to smaller devices.

Approach in practice Storefront → Transaction
We treated Bakers Bench as a selling system, not simply a website with products added to it.

Product structure, interface design, WooCommerce development, cart, checkout, payment, content and visual assets were designed to support the same goal: create a premium digital storefront capable of carrying a customer through to purchase.

Project timeline ~1 month

Design, WooCommerce development, commerce flows, content creation and the visual system were completed within the focused engagement.

How we worked

Bakers Bench required both experience design and commerce implementation. Vyasti first structured how customers would discover and move through the product offering, then designed the premium storefront around that journey, developed the WooCommerce experience, connected cart, checkout and payment, created the supporting content and visual assets, and refined everything into one complete selling platform. That approach kept the project focused on the real business outcome: not merely showing cakes online, but enabling customers to buy them.

04 / Solution Highlights

Beautiful enough to build desire. Functional enough to complete the order.

Bakers Bench needed every part of the commerce journey to feel like part of the same premium storefront. The solution connected product discovery, detailed product views, cart behaviour, checkout and payment with the content, imagery and visual system surrounding the store.

Solution outcome Storefront → Transaction
Bakers Bench became more than a website where cakes were displayed.

The final experience connected premium presentation with a working WooCommerce journey, allowing customers to browse, view products, add them to cart, move through checkout and reach the payment stage within one connected storefront.

Final solution Design + development + commerce + content + visual assets.

The project brought together the website interface, WooCommerce functionality, content, graphics, imagery, icons and animations into a complete digital selling experience.

Solution in context

Bakers Bench needed a premium digital storefront, but visual polish alone would not solve the business requirement. Vyasti designed and developed a complete WooCommerce experience connecting product discovery, product detail, add-to-cart behaviour, cart, checkout and payment, while also creating the content, graphics, imagery, icons and animations required to give the platform its own visual character. The result was a storefront designed not only to display the products, but to support the complete online purchase journey.

06 / Commerce System & Web Experience

Behind the premium storefront was a complete commerce system.

The Bakers Bench website could not be treated as a collection of attractive pages. Product structure, WooCommerce functionality, cart, checkout, payment, content and responsive behaviour all had to operate together as one connected selling experience.

Commerce system principle Every screen had to move the customer closer to purchase.

The storefront could create desire, but the commerce system had to carry that intent forward. Browsing, product selection, cart behaviour, checkout and payment were treated as stages of one continuous journey.
