Vyasti Case Study
Simply Me / 2022

From no professional storefront to a premium e-commerce experience.

Simply Me needed a professional online destination for selling apparel such as T-shirts, caps and socks designed around logo-based products. Vyasti created a premium, simple and minimal e-commerce experience designed to make the brand easier to understand and the products easier to explore.

Simply Me came to Vyasti without a professional website and needed a stronger foundation for selling apparel online. The challenge was to create something premium, minimal and catchy while keeping the shopping experience straightforward. Strategy, research, information architecture, UX, UI, website design, brand identity, custom imagery, graphics, icons and illustrations were developed as part of the two-week engagement.

02 / The Challenge

Premium enough to feel desirable. Simple enough to make shopping easy.

Simply Me was starting without a professional website, which meant Vyasti was not only improving an existing interface. We had to establish the structure, content hierarchy and visual language of the digital brand while ensuring the final e-commerce experience never became unnecessarily complicated.

Core challenge Make it feel premium without making shopping feel complicated.

Simply Me wanted a premium, minimal and catchy presence. But the website also needed to serve a school-student audience, which made clarity, straightforward navigation and easy product understanding equally important.

01
No professional website

The digital experience needed to be established rather than simply refined from an existing professional storefront.

02
Premium vs. simple

Visual quality needed to increase without adding unnecessary complexity to the shopping journey.

03
Distinctive vs. over-designed

Simply Me needed personality without letting decorative ideas overpower products or usability.

04
Brand + commerce

The experience had to introduce the brand while also functioning as a practical online store.

The tension Too plain, and the brand would feel forgettable. Too designed, and the products would become harder to shop.

The challenge was finding the point where branding, visual personality and commerce reinforced one another instead of competing for attention.

Premium vs. simplicity The experience needed visual confidence without visual friction.

Premium e-commerce does not require every section to become visually complex. For Simply Me, the challenge was creating enough personality to elevate the brand while protecting the simplicity of browsing and understanding products.

Brand ambition 01
The website needed to feel more premium and distinctive.

Simply Me needed a stronger visual presence capable of making the brand feel intentional rather than appearing as a basic online catalogue.

Experience requirement 02
The shopping journey still had to remain simple.

Product discovery, content hierarchy and navigation needed to remain easy to understand, especially for a younger school-student audience.

Design tension Distinctive did not mean adding more decoration.

The challenge was to create a recognisable visual direction without allowing graphics, imagery, illustration or interface treatments to compete with the products themselves.

01
Product first

T-shirts, caps and socks still needed to remain the central objects visitors were there to explore.

02
Brand second layer

Custom imagery, graphics and illustration needed to strengthen the brand without dominating the storefront.

03
Interface discipline

Navigation, content structure and product presentation needed to stay immediately understandable.

Audience challenge A premium brand still needed to feel accessible to school students.

The audience influenced how far the experience could move toward sophistication. The visual direction needed polish and personality, but the interface still had to remain direct, understandable and approachable.

Target customer School Students

The website therefore needed a balance of visual energy, straightforward hierarchy and uncomplicated shopping.

01
T-shirts Give the core product range clear prominence.

The website needed a visual hierarchy that made the main apparel offering immediately understandable.

02
Caps Present additional apparel without creating clutter.

Product variety needed to feel part of one coherent storefront rather than several disconnected categories.

03
Socks Keep smaller product categories easy to discover.

Clear structure was necessary so secondary products remained visible without competing with primary content.

Information challenge The website needed structure before visual design could solve anything.

Without a professional site already in place, the information architecture had to establish how visitors would understand the brand, move through the website and reach the relevant product information.

Content challenge The interface could not rely on finished website copy because the content was being created too.

Vyasti wrote the website content from scratch, so messaging, hierarchy and page design needed to evolve as connected parts of the same experience rather than separate handoffs.

System challenge One visual direction had to remain coherent across ten pages.

The experience could not depend on a single impressive homepage. The design language needed enough structure to extend across the wider website and the project's landing page without losing consistency.

01
Scale 10 Pages

A multi-page experience rather than a single storefront concept.

02
Focus 1 Landing Page

A focused page also needed to fit the wider design direction.

03
Content From Scratch

Website copy had to be created alongside the experience.

04
Commerce WooCommerce

The final system also needed to support an e-commerce experience.

Visual-direction challenge Four qualities had to coexist without cancelling one another out.

Simply Me wanted the website to feel premium, simple, minimal and catchy. The challenge was translating all four into one coherent digital language rather than treating them as separate stylistic effects.

01
Premium Raise perception without becoming formal or inaccessible.
02
Simple Keep interactions and navigation straightforward.
03
Minimal Use restraint so products and key information could breathe.
04
Catchy Retain enough personality to connect with a younger audience.
Delivery challenge Strategy, content, identity and interface all had to become one system.

Because Vyasti's scope included research, information architecture, UX, UI, website design, brand identity, content and custom visual production, each workstream needed to support the others instead of producing disconnected outputs.

Project duration 2 weeks

The complete website direction and its supporting design system were developed within the supplied two-week project timeline.

The real challenge Build enough brand to make Simply Me memorable — without putting the brand between the customer and the product.

The website needed to establish a professional digital identity, communicate products clearly and create a premium impression, while preserving the simple experience expected from an e-commerce storefront aimed at a younger audience.

Challenge in context

Simply Me came to Vyasti without a professional website and wanted a premium, simple, minimal and catchy e-commerce presence. The challenge was to establish the information architecture, content hierarchy, brand direction and interface from the ground up while ensuring the visual experience never became more complicated than the shopping journey needed to be. Across ten pages and one landing page, the system needed to remain distinctive, clear and scalable while serving a school-student audience and presenting T-shirts, caps and socks more effectively.

03 / Vyasti Approach

Simplify first. Then make it memorable.

Because Simply Me did not already have a professional website, the work could not begin with decoration. We first simplified the structure and information hierarchy, then established the visual direction, wrote the content and expanded the experience into a complete e-commerce system.

Approach principle Structure before styling. Clarity before decoration.

The project needed to feel premium, but that quality had to come from deliberate hierarchy, composition and restraint — not from adding complexity to an experience that needed to remain easy to shop.

01
Simplify the experience

Reduce unnecessary structural complexity before designing the interface.

02
Establish the visual language

Define premium, simple, minimal and catchy as one coherent direction.

03
Design around real content

Write and prioritise website content before treating pages as finished layouts.

04
Scale the system

Extend the direction consistently across ten pages and one landing page.

Project methodology Every stage reduced uncertainty before adding another layer.

Instead of treating research, content, UX and visual design as isolated handoffs, each stage informed the next so the final storefront could remain coherent from structure through presentation.

01
Structure Simplify IA

Organise how visitors move through the brand and product experience.

02
Direction Define Visual Style

Establish the premium, simple, minimal and catchy design language.

03
Message Write Content

Create website copy from scratch around the new page hierarchy.

04
Experience Build UX

Turn information into straightforward browsing and shopping journeys.

05
Interface Design UI

Translate the experience into a premium visual storefront.

06
Brand Create Visuals

Develop imagery, graphics, icons and illustrations where needed.

07
Responsive Adapt Mobile

Design mobile layouts intentionally rather than simply shrinking desktop.

08
System Scale

Extend the final direction across the ten-page website.

Step 01 / Information architecture We simplified the website before designing what it looked like.

With no professional website already established, the first task was to create a logical structure that could help visitors understand the brand, discover products and move through the experience without unnecessary complexity.

01
Clarify the hierarchy Decide what information visitors needed first and what could sit deeper.
02
Reduce complexity Avoid unnecessary routes and decisions across the browsing journey.
03
Prioritise products Keep T-shirts, caps and socks easy to find and understand.
04
Prepare for growth Create enough structure to support future pages and content.
Step 02 / Visual direction We established the visual language before expanding it across the website.

Rather than designing each page independently, Vyasti first defined how Simply Me's four desired qualities — premium, simple, minimal and catchy — could coexist inside one consistent digital identity.

01 Premium
02 Simple
03 Minimal
04 Catchy
Step 03 / Content Website copy was written around the experience instead of dropped into it later.

Vyasti wrote the website content from scratch. This allowed page structure, messaging and interface hierarchy to develop together rather than forcing finished copy into layouts that had already been designed.

Content hierarchy Make key information easier to understand at a glance.

Important messages and products received stronger visual priority, while supporting information could remain available without competing for the same level of attention.

Step 04–05 / UX & UI Premium presentation was built on top of straightforward behaviour.

The experience design protected simplicity first. The visual interface could then add personality and brand character without making navigation or product discovery harder.

01
Navigation Clear routes

Keep movement through the website straightforward.

02
Discovery Product visibility

Make the core apparel offering easier to identify.

03
Hierarchy Faster understanding

Use stronger visual prioritisation for important information.

04
Interface Premium restraint

Add polish without overwhelming the shopping experience.

Step 06 / Visual production Brand character was created through custom visual work, not decorative clutter.

Custom website imagery, graphics, icons and illustrations were developed to give Simply Me its own digital character while supporting the content and product experience rather than distracting from it.

01 Imagery
02 Graphics
03 Icons
04 Illustrations
Step 07 / Mobile experience Mobile was designed for the smaller canvas, not treated as compressed desktop.

Where necessary, mobile layouts were adjusted independently so the information hierarchy, product clarity and overall shopping experience remained intentional on smaller screens.

01
Re-prioritise Keep the most important information visible first.
02
Re-compose Adjust layouts where desktop composition did not translate naturally.
03
Simplify Protect straightforward browsing on smaller screens.
04
Preserve identity Keep the premium Simply Me visual direction recognisable.
Step 08 / System expansion Once the direction worked, we expanded it across the wider website.

The final visual and experience system needed enough consistency to support ten website pages and one landing page without requiring every page to use the same exact composition.

Approach outcome The final experience could feel more premium without becoming more difficult to use.

By solving structure, hierarchy and content before relying on visual styling, Simply Me's website could combine stronger brand presentation with clearer product communication and a system capable of supporting future pages and content.

Project duration 2 weeks

Strategy, research, information architecture, UX, UI, website design, content, brand identity and custom visual production developed inside the supplied project timeline.

How we worked

Vyasti approached Simply Me as both a commerce problem and a brand-building problem. We simplified the information architecture first, established the visual direction before scaling it, wrote the website content from scratch, improved content hierarchy, designed the UX and UI around product clarity, created custom imagery, graphics, icons and illustrations, and adapted mobile layouts independently where necessary. That approach created a more coherent foundation for the ten-page website while preserving the balance Simply Me needed: premium in presentation, but simple in use.

04 / Solution Highlights

A stronger storefront without a heavier shopping experience.

The final design translated Simply Me's premium, simple, minimal and catchy direction into a complete digital storefront. Product presentation stayed central while content, custom imagery, graphics, icons and illustrations added enough personality to make the website feel like a distinct brand.

Solution outcome Simply Me gained a more complete digital identity — not just a set of e-commerce screens.

Strategy, information architecture, content, UX, UI, brand identity and custom visual production came together as one website system, giving the brand a more premium presentation while keeping products clearer and easier to explore.

Project duration 2 weeks

Ten website pages, one landing page, content, UX/UI, brand identity and supporting custom visual work were developed within the supplied project timeline.

Solution in context

Simply Me needed a professional e-commerce experience capable of making the brand feel more premium without making shopping more complicated. Vyasti created a ten-page website and one landing-page experience supported by simplified information architecture, website content written from scratch, UX/UI design, brand identity, custom website imagery, graphics, icons and illustrations, with mobile layouts adapted independently where necessary. The resulting system gave products more clarity while giving Simply Me a stronger and more distinctive digital presence.

05 / Impact & Results

Simply Me looked more established. And had a stronger system to grow from.

The clearest result of the engagement was qualitative rather than numerical. Simply Me moved from having no professional website to having a complete e-commerce presence with clearer product presentation, stronger brand expression and a more scalable foundation for future digital work.

Delivery result Multiple disciplines came together as one finished digital experience.

Project duration 2 weeks

The complete ten-page website, one landing page and supporting design work were created within the supplied project timeline.

Verified project result A significantly more premium brand presence, clearer products and a stronger foundation for what came next.

No quantitative sales, conversion or traffic results were supplied. The documented outcome is the improvement in Simply Me's digital presentation, product clarity and its ability to support future marketing, pages and content through a more scalable website system.

Impact in context

Simply Me began the project without a professional website. Two weeks later, the brand had a ten-page e-commerce experience and one landing page supported by strategy, information architecture, content, UX, UI, brand identity and custom visual production. The verified impact was qualitative but meaningful: a more premium digital presentation, clearer communication of the product offering, a stronger foundation for future marketing and growth, and a more scalable system for adding pages and content over time.

06 / E-commerce Experience System

More than storefront styling. A complete path from brand to product.

Simply Me's e-commerce experience needed several disciplines to work together. Brand identity, website content, navigation, product presentation, responsive behaviour and the WooCommerce layer all had to support the same simple objective: make the products easier to understand without losing the personality of the brand.

Commerce principle Strengthen the brand without putting friction between the visitor and the product.

The storefront needed enough visual character to feel like Simply Me, but the experience still had to remain focused on straightforward navigation, product understanding and an uncomplicated shopping journey.

Brand × Commerce Neither side could work properly without the other.

A functional storefront without brand character would not deliver the premium experience Simply Me wanted. A heavily branded experience without shopping clarity would create the opposite problem.

Brand layer 01
Create a visual identity people could recognise.

Brand identity, imagery, graphics, icons and illustrations gave Simply Me a stronger digital personality and helped the experience feel more considered than a generic product catalogue.

Commerce layer 02
Keep the path to products understandable and direct.

Information architecture, content hierarchy, navigation and product presentation were kept disciplined so the storefront remained simple enough for the intended audience.

01
Identity Brand recognition

A defined visual direction gave the website a more premium and distinctive starting point.

02
Structure Clear information hierarchy

Important product and brand information received stronger priority than supporting detail.

03
Product Easier presentation

Apparel categories could be communicated inside a more organised and deliberate storefront.

04
Scale Wider website system

The same experience principles could extend beyond one page into the broader ten-page website.

Content system The shopping experience started with deciding what needed to be understood.

Vyasti wrote Simply Me's website content from scratch, which allowed messaging and interface hierarchy to be shaped together instead of designing empty layouts first.

01
Brand context

Establish Simply Me's identity without delaying access to the products visitors came to explore.

02
Product clarity

Make the apparel offering easier to identify through clear hierarchy and more deliberate content structure.

03
Supporting information

Keep secondary content available without allowing it to compete visually with the main shopping experience.

Shopping journey The interface was organised around a simple sequence of understanding.

The objective was not to add more interactions. It was to reduce uncertainty as visitors moved from discovering Simply Me to understanding and exploring the apparel offering.

Responsive system Mobile preserved the experience logic, not necessarily the desktop composition.

Where required, mobile layouts were designed independently so product visibility and information hierarchy continued to make sense when the available space became smaller.

01
Re-prioritise Keep important products and information visible first.
02

The supplied technology for Simply Me is WooCommerce. Rather than turning this section into an unsupported list of plugins or integrations, the case study keeps the technical layer focused on the verified commerce platform.

Technology in context Commerce requirements sat underneath a design-led storefront experience.

The visible experience was shaped through strategy, information architecture, content, UX, UI and custom visual production, while WooCommerce provided the verified e-commerce technology layer for the project.

Design objective Premium in perception. Simple in use.

The system was designed to make the brand feel more considered without making the customer's path through its apparel offering more complicated.

System in context

Simply Me's e-commerce experience was not created as a series of unrelated storefront screens. Vyasti connected brand identity, website content, information architecture, UX, UI, custom imagery, graphics, icons, illustrations, responsive design and the verified WooCommerce commerce layer into one wider system. The result was a ten-page website and one landing page that could present the brand more strongly while keeping its apparel offering clear, accessible and structurally prepared for future pages and content.

Your products may be good. Does your website make them feel worth choosing?

A functional e-commerce website can list products. A stronger digital experience gives those products context, character and a brand environment that makes them easier to understand and more intentional to explore.
